All of these are an improvement on the piezo tone, but they all sound kind of whirry, kind of strange no matter what I do - using a D35 with a Thinline Gold - maybe that's the problem. 

Admin Notes: Try some other Rosewood Dreanought Images. Remember, even all D35's will sound different from each other. Yours may have a different frequency response than the one we recorded for these Images.

I'm using the MD354011NTII image with a Garrison G20 and it works really fine though the Garrisons natural sound has much more edge on the bass than the original Martin
